'Shameless' star Emmy Rossum sings at Mets season opener

Emmy Rossum of the Showtime dramedy Shameless sang the national anthem Monday at the home opener of the New York Mets.
The Mets beat the San Diego Padres 11-2 in the game.
Rossum, a classically trained Golden Globe nominee for her role in The Phantom of the Opera, was backed by 50 members of the Scholars' Academy of Far Rockaway, N.Y. The New York native, 26, released her second album, Sentimental Journey, in January.
