Report: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard engaged

The 2011 film The Rum Diaries didn't do much for Johnny Depp's career but it had a lasting effect on his love life.

People reports that it's confirmed the actor, 50, has gotten engaged to his co-star from that movie, Amber Heard, 27.

Depp was previously in a long-term domestic partnership with French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis, which produced two children, Lily-Rose and Jack, before ending in 2012.

He's only been married once, early in his career to Lori Anne Allison, but has been engaged to Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Fenn and Winona Ryder, who inspired him to get a tattoo that read "Winona Forever." When they split, he had it edited to say "Wino Forever."

Heard, who has publicly identified herself as bisexual, was previously attached to photographer Tasya van Ree.
