From 'KPop Demon Hunters' to 'Wicked'. Here are 5 couples, friends Halloween costumes.

Oct. 4, 2025, 6:05 a.m. ET

The only thing more fun than dressing up for Halloween solo is doing it with loved ones. Cute, fun or cheesy, couples' and group costumes make an appearance every Halloween season.

With this year's costumes trend predicted to be pop culture-heavy, obvious duo costumes, like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, come to mind. Plenty of sequels and reboots drew lots of love in 2025, as well, inspiring the resurgence of some characters we've seen in years past - with a fresh twist.

Whether dressing up with your beau, best friend or family member, you've certainly got options. From elaborate cosplay-quality getups to quick one-piece garb, here are five ideas for two-person costumes to try out this Halloween.

Glinda and Elphaba from Wicked

Glinda and Elphaba.

The wait is almost over for all the "Wicked" fans out there.

"Wicked: For Good," the second part of the movie adaptation of the popular Broadway musical starring Arianna Grande and Cynthia Erivo, is set to premiere this November after the first installment broke box office records. Trailers showing Erivo in full green-skinned Elphaba costume and Grande decked out in a sparkly pink G(a)linda gown have surely inspired new and old fans alike.

This year, Spirit Halloween has options for dressing up like the unlikely besties, with costumes from both their Shiz days and post-graduation lives.

Glinda's striped school uniform is available in adult sizes for $59.99, while the matching adult-sized Elphaba school days set sells for the same amount. Glinda's all-grown-up dress is available for $59.99, while the kids' version is available for $49.99. Elphaba's iconic black robes and hat for adults also retails for $59.99, with the kids' version selling for $49.99.

 KPop Demon Hunters

Rumi, Mira, and Zoey from "Kpop Demon Hunters."

Following the breakout success of Netflix’s animated musical fantasy "KPop Demon Hunters," kids and adults alike are gearing up to channel their favorite demon-slaying idols this Halloween.

Get a few friends together and form your own version of girl group HUNTR/X and spend your Halloween battling supernatural forces while maintaining your pop stardom.

At Spirit Halloween, costumes for all three main characters come in both adult and kids' sizes. Get suited up for a fight as Mira, Rumi or Zoey with adult costumes for $69.99, or the kids' versions for $59.99.

Fallout

Maximus and Lucy MacLean from the "Fallout" TV series.

"Fallout" began as a 1997 role-playing video game (RPG) and went on to become one of the most iconic and recognizable franchises amongst gamers. The release of the Amazon Prime "Fallout" streaming series in April 2024 reignited interest in the postapocalyptic universe, prompting an all-time high player count for the online Fallout 76 RPG and other games from the series.

The show's runaway success and growing anticipation for the second season, which releases in December 2025, means revelers will surely be met with a sea of blue jumpsuits, ghoulish face paint and makeshift Pipboys this Halloween season for the second year in a row.

Fans can suit up like the titular character, Lucy MacLean, in a sleek Vault 33 women's jumpsuit, complete with a gold belt and Pipboy for $92.99, or this men's Vault-dweller suit starting at $59.99.

More of a surface-dweller type? Emulate Brotherhood of Steel loyalist Knight Maximus with this official-looking red and leather jumpsuit for $86.99, modeled after the TV show protagonist.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (especially that engagement photo)

Swifties everywhere rejoiced in August when Taylor Swift announced her engagement to NFL player Travis Kelce with an iconic set of photos taken in a flower-strewn, fairytale setting.

Swift is a huge source of costume inspiration every year, but this year's looks are likely to be even more prolific in the wake of the engagement news. The great thing about this getup is its simplicity: unlike her dazzling tour looks, such as the "Midnights" bodysuit and basically everything from the Eras Tour, emulating the engagement look requires just a striped dress, like this smocked one from Amazon for $35.

As for Kelce, a navy top and light colored linen shorts will do, or, for a more obvious nod, a Kansas City Chiefs No. 87 jersey.

Fantastic Four

The Fantastic Four.

With "Fantastic Four: First Steps" marking the Marvel Cinematic Universe's debut of "Marvel’s First Family," fans are suiting up this Halloween in screen-accurate costumes inspired by the film’s retro-futuristic take on the iconic heroes.

The movie, released to theaters in July 2025, stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the core quartet, and their updated looks are already a hit among cosplayers and trick-or-treaters alike.

Spirit Halloween's fantastic costume sets can work for couples or groups of up to four. The adult Invisible Woman costume is priced at $54.99, the adult Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch costumes are priced at $59.99, and the adult The Thing costume, complete with head and hand coverings, is priced at $79.99.

Or, if you're looking to tap into your more sinister side, sport Dr. Doom's look with full cape and mask for $49.99.
