People are eating up Build-A-Bear's new Frosted Animal Cookie collection

Build-A-Bear's newest animals are stuffed with childhood cookie nostalgia, and social media users are eating it up.

The toy store that lets you stuff your own plush animal debuted its new Frosted Animal Cookie collection earlier this month, and the animals might look familiar. The plushies are inspired by the childhood favorite pink‑and‑white frosted animal cookies, complete with colorful sprinkles. Some social media users have fallen in love with Build-A-Bear's newest pals, with guests ranging from kids to adults heading into stores to make their own stuffed friend reminiscent of the childhood snack.

The stars of Build-A-Bear's Frosted Animal Cookie collection are the Pink Frosted Animal Cookie Giraffe and White Frosted Animal Cookie Camel, which are available in the make-your-own format. The collection also includes three small stuffed animals known as Mini Beans featuring a giraffe, camel and lion, according to a press release from the company.

Along with the collection of stuffed animals comes new clothing and accessories to dress them up in, including a tutu skirt, dress and party hat inspired by frosted cookies.

Guests can also embed their stuffed animal with a new Frosted Animal Cookie scent to make them smell like the snack they resemble.

The Frosted Animal Cookie collection is part of Build-A-Bear's current brand platform, "The Stuff You Love," which the press release said aims to celebrate "the emotional connections people form through meaningful moments, memories, and personalized experiences."

On social media, the Frosted Animal Cookie collection is winning over the hearts of users, with videos showing the animals garnering thousands of likes and views.

Some people have posted their experience of picking out their frosted animal, getting it stuffed and choosing its outfit.

Other posts encourage people to make their own plush. In one video with over 99,000 likes, the user says viewers should "sprint to Build-A-Bear" while showing off the Frosted Animal Cookie Giraffe, complete with a party hat.

"They have the sweetest faces," says a user in another viral video with hundreds of thousands of likes as they try to decide between getting the giraffe or camel stuffed animal. "Look at these cuties...I'm very happy with the selection today. These are bigger and I think like a little bit nicer than I thought."

How much are the Frosted Animal Cookie plushies?

The Frosted Animal Cookie collection is available in-person at participating Build-A-Bear locations as well as online at buildabear.com. Online, the Pink Frosted Animal Cookie Giraffe and White Frosted Animal Cookie Camel are both $32 while the Mini Bean lion, camel, and giraffe are all $10.
