You can get free double protein at Chipotle on Jan. 13. Here's how.
Amaris EncinasChipotle is just one of many restaurants focusing on protein, and on Jan. 13, they are looking to give you more protein for free.
The restaurant chain is offering an extra scoop of protein – free of charge – to Chipotle Rewards members on "one of the most popular days to work out." According to Chipotle, customers can pair the offer with a bowl, burrito or salad order.
In addition to the "free double protein offer," Chipotle Mexican Grill recently introduced a "High Protein Menu" in late December so customers could get "protein they want in the portions that work for them, whether that is a lighter bite or a more substantial build."

"With clean protein being a pillar of our core menu, our restaurants have long been popular destinations for athletes and gym-goers to refuel," Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing, said in a statement. "By offering free double protein for Chipotle Rewards members on January 13, we're making it easier to power progress with real food."
Here's what to know about the offer, including how to claim it.

How can I get free double protein at Chipotle?
Chipotle Rewards members who order a bowl, burrito or salad with double protein can use the code "PROTEIN" to get an extra portion of meat, or Sofritas for free. Adobo Chicken, Steak, Braised Beef Barbacoa, Carnitas and Sofritas are all eligible protein options.
According to Chipotle, the offer is only valid for digital orders placed through the Chipotle app, or online at Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca. The code to unlock the offer can only be used one time per transaction.
The offer can also be paired with a custom entrée with double protein, or for double protein entrées from Chipotle's High Protein Menu.
