Mountain Dew has officially joined the dirty soda trend.

The newest Mountain Dew beverage, Dirty Mountain Dew, is hitting stores now, along with Dirty Mountain Dew Zero Sugar – both are available in 20-ounce single bottles and 12-packs of 12-ounce cans.

Dirty soda drinks – made by adding a bit of coffee creamer or flavored syrup to a carbonated soda – have become a popular drink alternative, especially among Gen Z consumers.

Dirty Mountain Dew mashes up the soft drink's "iconic citrus flavor with a smooth, creamy flavor finish," the brand says in a news release.

"Mountain Dew has always led where flavor goes next, and dirty soda is exactly that moment," said Michael Smith, vice president of marketing for Mountain Dew, PepsiCo Beverages U.S., in a statement. "Dirty Mountain Dew takes our iconic citrus flavor and makes it bold and refreshing in a whole new way – a bold, creamy ready-to-drink experience that's exactly what Dew fans have been waiting for."

How to get free Dirty Mountain Dew from DoorDash

You can add Dirty Mountain Dew as a free item to your DashMart cart starting April 29 for a limited time in certain markets. The freebie is available while supplies last (one per customer). The deal is available in these markets: Detroit; Kansas City; Las Vegas; Salt Lake City; San Diego; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Huntsville, Alabama; Toledo, Ohio; Sarasota, Florida; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Fresno, California; and Tampa, Florida.

Dirty Mountain Dew and Dirty Mountain Dew Zero Sugar are available now in 20-ounce single bottles and 12-pack 12-ounce cans.

Dirty Mountain Dew follows parent company Pepsi's release of Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream flavor in January 2025.

Competitors have embraced the dirty soda trend, too. Keurig Dr Pepper has said it plans to bring Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut to market in April and A&W Root Beer Float in July.
