Aptive offers three plans depending on your needs. Each plan comes with its guarantee that if pests come back, Aptive will, too, and at no cost to you. After each visit on any plan, Aptive will send you a diagnostic report with photos, notes and recommended next steps.

Guarantees and warranties

Aptive backs its service with a satisfaction guarantee. If pests return between scheduled visits, the company will return as many times as needed at no additional cost.

That’s a meaningful commitment that comes with an important distinction: it’s a retreatment guarantee, not a pest-free guarantee. Aptive will keep showing up, but it can’t promise the problem will be fully eliminated.

“A guarantee that actually protects you states clearly that if a covered pest shows up between regularly scheduled visits, the company comes back at no charge,” says Saucedo. “The kind that leaves you exposed is vague about which pests and services qualify.”

Specialty insects such as German cockroaches fall outside of Aptive’s standard plans and outside the guarantee that comes with them.
