Mega Millions jackpot tops $400M after no winner

The Mega Millions jackpot is back above $400 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in the last drawing, pushing the top prize to an estimated $403 million for Friday, Oct. 16.

The jackpot has been growing since late July, when a Florida player won an $800 million prize. No one won the jackpot or a Match 5 prize on Oct. 13, allowing the grand prize to keep climbing to a cash value of $162.1 million.

How to play the Mega Millions

Mega Millions tickets are sold at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, and other lottery retailers. Some states also allow online purchases.
