Amazon is giving last-minute shoppers until Christmas Eve to place orders for delivery by Christmas.

The online retail giant announced its ordering deadlines Wednesday, eight days before Christmas Eve and the day after the cutoff for ground shipping by Christmas at FedEx, UPS and the U.S. Postal Service.

"In a year unlike any other, Amazon has you covered with fast, free, and reliable shipping," the company said in a blog post. "Whether you’re a planner or a procrastinator, Prime members have more delivery options than ever before thanks to the Amazon employees and drivers who are coming together to deliver magic for customers."

But beware: Amazon says not all delivery speeds are available for all products in all regions, order minimums and cutoff times may apply.

Whole Foods Market stores, Amazon Fresh stores, Amazon Books, Amazon 4-star and Amazon Pop Up stores also are open on Christmas Eve but hours vary by location.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, more shoppers have been buying holiday gifts online this year.
