Verizon has a new incentive for customers on its unlimited wireless plans: free games.

Subscribers with an unlimited plan can get free access to either Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass, the telecommunications giant announced Monday.

Verizon says new and existing customers with unlimited plans will receive six months access for free. Customers who subscribe to the service's "Play More" or "Get More" plans receive a year for free.

Both Apple Arcade and Google Play Plus cost $4.99, and offer access to a library of hundreds of mobile games compatible with smartphones and tablets.

Once the free promotion ends, the service will automatically renew at $4.99 a month unless cancelled by users.

Verizon has offered similar access to subscription services as a way to entice customers to sign up or upgrade to unlimited plans. The company offered similar promotions for access to streaming services Discovery+ and Disney+.
