Several gunshots struck a National Security Agency building Tuesday, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.

Police do not believe the shots were fired from the nearby Baltimore-Washington Parkway, a U.S. Park Police spokeswoman told The Washington Post..

Multiple shots hit one wall of a building on the NSA campus in Fort Meade, Md. The spy agency had no immediate comment.

Earlier, several miles away, two people suffered minor injuries when a sniper in the woods fired on a tree-trimming truck driving on the Intercounty Connector in Laurel, Md., WUSA-TV reported.

Two bullets pierced the truck's windshield about 3 p.m.. One person was cut by flying glass, and the other occupant was hit, but his clothes stopped the bullet, the Maryland Transportation Authority said.

Authorities have not determined whether the two shootings are connected.
