Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle: Look back at their relationship, $9.7 million Florida home

"Kali mera!" Kimberly Guilfoyle is headed to Greece.

Former president Donald Trump appointed the former model and Fox News host as ambassador when his second term begins next month.

The news comes amid breakup reports with Donald Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, who consistently referred to her former fiance as her "soulmate" and "forever best friend" (see below). Donald Trump Jr. has been linked to model and socialite Bettina Anderson, a regular among the Palm Beach social scene.

The 55-year-old Guilfoyle shared her excitement about her new position on Instagram this week: "I'm honored to accept President Trump's nomination to serve as the next Ambassador to Greece and I look forward to earning the support of the U.S. Senate. President Trump's historic victory is bringing hope and optimism to the Americanpeople and to freedom-loving allies across the world. It was the democratic values born in Greece that helped shape the founding of America. And now, we have an opportunity to honor that history by bringing better days here at home and abroad. As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity."

Though the pair reportedly called off their wedding, a Dec. 13, 2024, check on Guilfoyle's social networks show plenty of photos and love notes to Donald Trump Jr.

Kimberly Guilfoyle is a former model, attorney and Fox News host from San Francisco, California. She's been a familiar face in the Trump circle for the past six years. Guilfoyle previously appeared on "The Five" and "Outnumbered" on Fox News. Before her relationship with Donald Trump Jr., Guilfoyle was previously married to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, for four years while he was the mayor of San Francisco. They divorced in 2006, and she married furniture heir Eric Villency the same year. They had a son, Ronan, but divorced in 2009.

2018: Donald Trump Jr., son of former president Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump, and former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle go public as a couple as his divorce to Vanessa Trump is finalized. Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump have five children together.

2020: Guilfoyle is named chair of the finance committee of the Trump Victory Committee, managing a fund-raising division for Trump. She starts campaigning for Trump during the 2020 presidential election against Joe Biden, often appearing with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump rallies. Guilfoyle appears with the Trump family at the White House for the Republican National Convention in July 2020. The couple got engaged in December 2020, although it was not made public for two more years.

March 2021: Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle purchase a $9.7 million two-story home in Jupiter, Florida, that has seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a wine room, theater, elevator, chef's kitchen, guest wings, a pool and private dock. The celebrity couple live in Admirals Cove, an exclusive gated community about 20 miles north of Mar-a-Lago. The move enabled Donald Trump Jr. to spend more time with his five children — Kai Trump, Donald Trump III, Tristan Trump, Spencer Trump and Chloe Trump — from his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, who lives nearby in Jupiter.

December 2023: Guilfoyle makes the 2023 Trump Christmas card.

April 2024: Over the years, Trump fans have wondered whether Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. celebrate two anniversaries and their meaning. On April 24, 2024, Guilfoyle posted a sweet message on Instagram with a collage of photos showing her and Trump Jr. over the years: "Happy anniversary to my sweetheart @DonaldJTrumpJr. You are my best friend and my soulmate. Here’s to us and our incredibly blessed life we share together. Looking forward to creating new memories and enjoying more adventures together. Love you, Kimberly"

May 2024: Weeks later, Guilfoyle posted a note to her "soulmate" on her Instagram, tagging Trump Jr. and a rescue shelter: "What a blessing to celebrate another anniversary with my soul mate and forever best friend. Cherish the moments with the ones you love, who always have your back, who share your mission to leave the world a better place than you found it, and who even lets you surprise him with a new furry friend rescue puppy every once in awhile."
