  • Lauren Sanchez Bezos made the cover of Vogue for her star-studded wedding to the Amazon founder in June 2025.

Newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos were spotted in Port Canaveral, Florida.

And thanks to Sanchez Bezos’ aviation skills, the It Couple arrived there in style – by helicopter.

Days after the Amazon founder watched his other company, Blue Origin, launch its massive New Glenn rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the billionaire returned to the Space Coast to see the booster’s trek back to port. On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the company’s ship, nicknamed Harvey Stone, towed it to Port Canaveral.

Photos online show Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos standing next to the towering booster, looking up.

The 322-foot-tall New Glenn rocket lifted off Nov. 13 from Launch Complex 36 in Cape Canaveral, sending NASA’s Mars-bound ESCAPADE spacecraft into orbit. Eight minutes after launch, the rocket booster nicknamed “Never Tell Me the Odds” landed atop a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The booster landing marked the first time a company other than SpaceX performed this maneuver. On New Glenn’s maiden flight in January 2025 from Cape Canaveral, the booster was lost on its descent.

Lauren Sanchez Bezos, who recently married her longtime love Jeff Bezos, one of the richest people on the planet, referenced the booster Tuesday on an Instagram Story: In a helicopter selfie, the pilot and model captioned her pic, “Guess where I’m flying to this AM? Don’t tell me the odds!!!!”

In another photo, her Instagram followers can see her husband of three months looking at the drone ship, nicknamed “Jacklyn” after Jeff Bezos’ late mother, and the NTMTO booster standing as tall as an 18-story building in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. She tagged @BlueOrigin and @JeffBezos on social.

Below is what to know about Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos, their home in Florida and Never Tell Me the Odds.

Who is Lauren Sanchez Bezos? Is Jeff Bezos’ wife an astronaut?

Lauren Sanchez Bezos (formerly Lauren Sanchez) is an Emmy-winning TV news journalist, helicopter pilot, children's book author, vice chair of Bezos Earth Fund and wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The model had small roles in films like “Fantastic Four” (with Jessica Alba and Chris Evans), “Fight Club” (with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton) and “The Longest Yard” (with Adam Sandler).

Sanchez, a mother of three, began dating Bezos in 2019. According to her bio on Blue Origin's site, the licensed helicopter pilot founded Black Ops Aviation, the first female-owned and operated aerial film and production company. She released her New York Times bestselling debut children's book, "The Fly Who Flew to Space," in 2024.

Sanchez Bezos and her husband have both flown to space via Blue Origin’s space tourist flights from West Texas.

Bezos traveled there in 2021 via the company’s New Shepard rocket, followed by his then-fiancée in a celebrity space flight April 14, 2025. Pop star Katy Perry and CBS News morning show host Gayle King (also a close friend of Oprah’s) were part of the New Shepard-31 all-female space crew, or NS-31, for short.

The crew was in orbit for 11 minutes, marking Blue Origin's 11th human spaceflight − and the 31st flight of the New Shepard program. Though the star-studded event marked a milestone – it was the first time in 60 years that there was an all-female space crew – the event was largely panned by critics.

The New Shepard passengers are largely referred to as “space tourists” and not as astronauts, although there was training involved for their trip to space.

Where do Lauren and Jeff Bezos live?

Bezos and Sanchez Bezos live in the exclusive community of Indian Creek Village, or Billionaire Bunker near Miami Beach, Florida. But that’s not the only Florida tie for the celebrity couple: Lauren Sanchez Bezos’ son graduated from a Florida college in spring 2024, and Blue Origin has a facility near NASA's Kennedy Space Center and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

According to a June 25, 2025, story on realtor.com, the founder of private space company Blue Origin "now owns three pricey places on Indian Creek Island – the third, he picked up for a reported $90 million in 2024. According to reports, he plans to raze the other two properties – which he picked up for a combined $147 million – and live in the most recent purchase while awaiting construction to be completed."

Indian Creek Village, a 300-acre island in Biscayne Bay with about 30 homes, an ultra-exclusive country club and golf course, is one of the richest neighborhoods in the United States.

When did Jeff Bezos marry Lauren Sanchez?

Bezos married Lauren Sanchez on June 27, 2025, in Venice, Italy. It was another star-studded event with wedding guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, Orlando Bloom (ex-husband of Katy Perry), Gayle King, and Kim Kardashian. The couple’s famous neighbors, Tom Brady and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner attended the nuptials, too.
