What is bimbofication? DC bar hosts kink night after Bryon Noem story

A Washington DC bar didn't waste any time capitalizing on turmoil involving former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's husband, who is involved in a reported "bimbofication" scandal.

The District Eagle — a gay bar on U Street — said to "blame Bryon Noem" for its "Bimbofication Kink Night" held Thursday, April 2.

"We've seen the reports. We've read the 'leaks,'" the bar said in an Instagram post. "And frankly? We're inspired."

Its promotional image featured a man with fake breasts and promises of "Double-D drink specials," an apparent reference to photos shared by the Daily Mail of Bryon Noem appearing to be dressed as a woman.

District Eagle calls itself the "home for DC's kink communities," and Thursday's event leaned into the political satire by turning the controversy into a high-energy celebration of performances.

The bar encouraged guests to "GO BIG" in their attire if they're feeling sassy, writing that "fake boobs and hotpants (are) strongly encouraged but not required."

"Whether you’re a husband with a secret or just a fan of prohibitively large proportions, we’ve got the padding and the pours to make your Thursday night truly jaw-dropping," District Eagle said.

What happened to Kristi Noem's husband?

The Daily Mail reported Bryon Noem, the husband of Kristi Noem, often wore fake breasts as he talked online with fetish models.

The women he allegedly spoke to were involved in the "bimbofication" scene, a kink or fetish that involves roleplaying and transforming into a stereotypical "bimbo."

The Daily Mail's story includes unverified photos, audio and "hundreds of messages" Bryon Noem sent to the models.

“Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” a spokesperson for Kristi Noem told The New York Post.

Bryon Noem has not denied the Daily Mail's allegations.
