  • Donald Trump Jr. married Bettina Anderson on May 21.
  • Reports show they celebrated in the Bahamas over the weekend.
  • Ivanka Trump and Lara Trump were together in a tropical location over the weekend.

President Donald Trump on May 22 sent his best to his son and fiancée on their upcoming nuptials, but declined to attend the wedding.

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson announced their engagement to the world at a December White House event. Trump Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump and engaged to the now Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Reports surfaced ahead of the weekend that the eldest Trump son was planning to get married in the Bahamas, and now Instagram posts from the couple and the Trump family show glimpses into what appears to be a tropical wedding. Here is what we know:

Did Donald Trump Jr. get married?

Yes, though they legally tied the knot before their reported weekend ceremony.

A marriage license obtained by USA TODAY shows the two were legally married in Palm Beach County, Florida, on May 21.

A representative for Trump Jr. did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation of the wedding weekend.

Bettina Anderson shares 'Mrs. Trump' flick on Instagram

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson attend a ceremony held by President Donald Trump to award posthumously the Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington, D.C., Oct. 14, 2025.

While Anderson has yet to share photos from the wedding – either the legal ceremony in Florida or the tropical celebration – she did share a glimpse of her first weekend as a newlywed on Instagram.

In a May 25 Instagram story, the socialite posted a picture showing a piece of white fabric embroidered with her new name: Mrs. Trump.

She also shared an image of a napkin printed with a quote from "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen: "My heart is and always will be yours." Anderson also tagged her new husband, who reposted it to his own account.

Anderson's new sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, also shared a picture of a matching napkin with a different quote on her own account. It featured words from "Les Misérables" by Victor Hugo: "To love or have loved, that is enough. Ask nothing further. There is no other pearl to be found in the dark folds of life."

Ivanka, Tiffany and Lara Trump share vacation pictures

Trump Jr.'s sisters Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, as well as sister-in-law Lara Trump, all posed together in photos shared on each of their Instagram accounts.

Lara Trump posted a carousel of images that included beachside selfies with her sisters-in-law and pictures with husband Eric Trump. One selfie with Lara, Ivanka and Tiffany also included Trump Jr.'s daughter Kai Trump.

In one photo, Lara and Eric Trump stand posing in the sand with chairs, tables and decorations visible in the background. Lara Trump wears a long coral-colored sundress while Eric is seen in a long-sleeved button-up shirt, white jeans and white sneakers. The couple also held sparklers in another selfie.

On Eric Trump's own Instagram story, he simply shared a mid-flight photo of teal-colored waters and an island from above.

Tiffany Trump shared the selfies of her, Lara, Ivanka and Kai on her own Instagram story. She also posted a clip of herself standing along the shore in a short sundress.

Ivanka Trump posted a slew of photos from the weekend, including photos with husband Jared Kushner as well as several solo shots on her Instagram story.

She also shared pictures with niece Kai Trump, Trump Jr.'s eldest child. In one, Ivanka and Kai Trump were seen paddleboarding together in the ocean.

"The best paddle board partner," Ivanka Trump wrote on the photo, which Kai Trump reposted on her own account.
