Iowa election results: Latest on races for governor, House, Senate
Iowa voters have cast ballots ahead of the November midterm elections.
Winners of the Tuesday, June 2, elections head to November elections as President Donald Trump and Republicans look to maintain a hold of Congress in the fall. In a packed roster of races, the state has open races for governor and U.S. Senate, and it will see two of its four U.S. House races heavily targeted as pickup opportunities for Democrats.
The governor’s race in particular has unsettled Republicans as they fought out a divisive five-way primary race to go head-to-head this fall with well-funded Democratic state Auditor Rob Sand.
Here are the results to know from Iowa's primary ahead of the November midterms, according to the Associated Press and CNN.
