  • Trump is scheduled to speak at The Villlages at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit The Villages on May 1.

The Villages, a retirement community that has garnered a national reputation for its social spirit, is located in Central Florida between Tampa and Gainesville.

According to a post from the Florida GOP, Trump will speak on "how he’s fighting for Floridians on everything from No Tax on Tips to No Tax on Social Security, putting seniors and workers first."

The tax legislation dubbed the "Big Beautiful Bill" does not eliminate tax on Social Security, but does give a tax break for seniors.

The 3 p.m. appearance on Friday will be held at The Villages Charter School.

Trump to speak at the Forum Club later May 1

After dropping by The Villages, Trump will head to West Palm Beach to speak at an event hosted by the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches. The 6:15 p.m. speech will be located at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Presidential-level flight restrictions from the Federal Aviation Administration will be in place in the airspace over Palm Beach County for May 1-2, a reliable indicator that Trump will be in town overnight on Friday.

Another FAA notice indicates that after leaving Palm Beach, Trump will head to Miami through May 3. The Trump National Doral Golf Club is hosting the PGA Tour's Cadillac Championship from April 29 to May 3.
