With World Cup fever set to grip the entire world, you might be wondering: Which team will be top dog at the FIFA World Cup this summer? It’s far too soon to tell, but the top dog (or cat) in your house can represent one of four incredible teams this summer with a home jersey from the adidas for pets collection.

The collection brings iconic tournament looks to four selected federations for the first time, ensuring that fans’ most loyal companions can now join the matchday lineup.

The range of jerseys, include four of the national teams who will be competing for glory when the tournament staged across Canada, Mexico and the United States gets underway on June 11.

Featuring pet jerseys inspired by the home kits of the teams of Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and the U.S., the collection is intended to mirror the design of the players' home kits. The looks include the imprint of the sculpture Piedra del Sol on the Mexico shirt, and the iconic sky blue and white stripes of Argentina, mirroring the country's flag. Japan’s jersey is a striking cerulean blue with swirls of white, and Colombia’s is the signature yellow with splashes of red, and all the pet jerseys come with the iconic adidas triple stripes on the “sleeves” for the animals front legs. Each jersey features a federation crest and adidas logo, and a “clean premium finish.”

This appears to be the first FIFA World Cup pet collection, but the World Cup itself is a soccer tournament held every four years since 1930, with a short break in 1942 and 1946 due to World War II. Argentina are the reigning champions, after defeating France in 2022, to win the country's third title. Be sure to explain that to your dog as you wrestle that jersey over their head. Better yet, toss a dog friendly soccer ball out in the yard and let your pup feel the glory of the pitch!

The brand promises a comfortable fit – and breathability – for pets of different sizes. Since the press release didn’t include actual sizing information, we’re not totally sure if it’s a one-size-fits all dachshund to golden retriever situation, or if the jerseys come in varying sizes. The 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup is scheduled to take place between June 11 and July 19. The first game of the tournament will take place in Mexico, and the tournament will conclude with the Finals in New York City.
