Love them, you will: Peek at new 'Star Wars Workbooks'

If Star Wars Workbooks had been around 30 years ago (or more), many of us might have better handwriting today.

Here's the cover of one of 12 'Star Wars Workbooks,' 'Kindergarten Math Skills.'

The cool new series of books, just released by Workman, is a shining example of pop culture's ability to teach as well as entertain. The 12 titles are aimed at children from preschool to second grade and cover numbers, letters, math, writing and reading by relating characters like Han Solo and Yoda to lessons in phonics and noun/verb agreement.

I love these books so much that I have a bunch on ice for my daughter (who's destined to be a Star Wars fan, of course). Below, browse a few pages that give you an idea of how well the books are designed and presented.

Twelve Star Wars Workbooks are on sale now for $8.95 each. I hope they inspire grown-ups everywhere to help their young Padawans with their homework!
