It's a great day to be a Lego or Pokémon fan and even better if you're both. Ahead of Pokémon's 30th anniversary, the two iconic toy brands are teaming up on a handful of collectible Lego Pokémon sets that are available to order on Pokemon Day, Friday, February 27.
The special collaboration sees some of the most beloved Pokémon characters get 'Lego-ified' just in time for the Nintendo series' massive 30th anniversary celebration later this year.
Pokémon launched in Japan on Feb. 27, 1996 and since then, it's garnered a cult fan base only to be rivaled by that of Lego (yes, Adult Fans of Lego (AFOLs) are not to be messed with)—hence why this first-of-its-kind collaboration has sent builders, trainers and the Internet as a whole into a total frenzy.
Ahead, order the limited-edition Pokémon Lego drops like a Pikachu and Poké Ball Lego set, Eevee Lego set, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise Lego set and more before they inevitably sell out.

What makes the new Pokémon Lego sets so popular?
Aside from the fact that Lego and Pokémon boast two of the most passionate and dedicated fandoms worldwide, this launch marks the first-ever collaboration between the two historic brands.
If you can preorder the sets now, when do the Pokémon Legos actually ship?
These Pokémon Lego sets are available for pre-order beginning today, and are set to ship on Friday, Feb. 27—when they'll also be available for outright purchase on the Lego website.
