In 2026, Lunar New Year falls on Tuesday, Feb. 17, marking the beginning of the Year of the Horse. This date, often called the Spring Festival, begins with the second new moon after the winter solstice, kicking off a 15-day celebration ending with the Lantern Festival on Tuesday, March 3.
