How I created my son's birthday invitations using Adobe Firefly

I started with two photos, one of the INDY500 ticket and one of my son as a race car driver, along with a super simple prompt:

• "Let's make a birthday invitation look like the Indy500 ticket, but the image of the driver will be the image of my son."

Adobe Firefly did JUST that. Literally exactly what I asked, placing my son on the ticket. But, it wasn't quite right. The image itself was great. But, all of the text was still related to the INDY500, the back-to-back winner, etc. So, I got more specific with my prompt for Adobe Firefly to apply edits. Here's the added prompt:

• Now, in the logo, instead of INDY 500, can it say Ollie 500?
• In the city underneath that, can it say "EL PASO" and date "July 3, 2026"
• For the text info…Let's go with:
  • "OLIVER 500"
  • "YOU ARE INVITED 5TH BIRTHDAY" (where it says your son)
  • 123 Main Street, El Paso, Texas
  • (915) 555 - 5555
  • RSVP TO MOM
  • Food, drink will be provided
• Where it says BACK 2 BACK above the car…can it say "FIFTH 5 BIRTHDAY"
• At the bottom for the ticket info, leave "ADMIT ONE"
• Change the date from May 25, 2025 to "JULY 3, 2026"
• Under RAIN CHECK: Put "If weather permits, there will a water slide and other water-related activities, please bring swim clothes and a towel!"

The finish line: An adorable design that stole the show

My take: This was SUPER simple to do and took minutes. It's easy to make changes, and there are no hoops to jump through to download your final image either. If I were to get really picky, it did remove a line that existed previously under "You are invited" that I would probably go back in and ask it to add. But, overall, Firefly really elevated anything I could have done on my own, saved me a ton of time and in much less time.
