How to register for the military discount at Samsung

1. You need to have a Samsung account. If you have a Samsung phone, you likely already have one and you'll need to login on the website.
2. Navigate to the Samsung Offers Program page and select the discount that applies to you. Samsung offers discounts to military, students, educators, government employees and first responders. Once you've selected one, in this case military, it will ask you to verify with a .mil email address or through ID.me.
3. If you're navigating to ID.me, you will also need to create an account or sign in to an existing one.
4. You will need to enter information to verify your military status, which may include service branch, date of service and .mil email address if applicable. If you are a military spouse, you may need to enter your spouse's information. You may also be required to upload photos of your CAC, a DD-214 or pay stubs.
5. Submit your verification request, ID.me will review your information and provide a confirmation. Confirmation can be provided is as little as five minutes.
6. You will be re-routed to Samsung and your military discount will be applied in your cart. (You may need to refresh, as mine took a second to register.)
