The 2026 World Baseball Classic is officially here with the Tokyo pool getting games started late on Wednesday night in the U.S. Baseball fans are in for two weeks of international competition, including at least four games from Team USA.
The roster is stacked, from Aaron Judge and 2025 MVP runner-up Cal Raleigh to Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal. Experts have favored USA baseball to win it all this year, after a tough loss to Team Japan in the 2023 finals. Team USA won't officially take the field until Friday, March 6 when they face Brazil, but fans are most looking forward to Team USA vs. Mexico next week. Tickets are still available for all matchups.

Only the pool play matchups are known right now. Team USA is in Pool B, which is playing all of their games at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas. Here's a look at the games we know USA baseball will play in:

Will Team USA play in the World Baseball Classic quarterfinals?
The 2026 World Baseball Classic quarterfinals will take place on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14. It will depend on the results from pool play. But, if Team USA advances to the second round, they will play the Friday quarterfinal game at 8 p.m. ET at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas against the San Juan pool runner-up.
