The NCAA Baseball Regionals were not kind to the top-ranked teams, with seven hosts eliminated from the tournament, including the No. 1-seeded UCLA Bruins. While they weren't a Regional host, my Arizona State Sun Devils were also eliminated, to my dismay.
In addition to UCLA, No. 2 Georgia Tech was also eliminated. Top-ranked teams that remain in the tournament include No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Auburn and No. 5 UNC. The second weekend of the tournament will take place from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7 with the winners advancing to College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska starting on June 12.
