Instead, they're turning to tiny homes as a means to expand on square footage, without the hefty costs or commitment of buying a new house.
Perhaps most shocking of all, many people are actually buying tiny homes on Amazon, which begs the question: is there anything the global e-retailer doesn't sell? Apparently not. And while I've long rolled my eyes at the prospect of an Amazon tiny home—assuming they had to be a scam in some capacity—the latest crop of tiny houses for sale on Amazon have made me into a believer. (And had me scurrying around looking for an extra $30,000 to spend on one.)
