Ambitious individuals often find themselves isolated in work and in life. Gobundance is an organization committed to bringing high-net-worth (or potential high-net-worth) entrepreneurs and investors together. Its network of over 900 successful professionals is worth over $5.7 billion as of this writing, and the group is quickly gaining notoriety for its significant influence not just on professional but personal growth.

Here is the story of Gobundance, its CEO Matt King, and some of its most successful members.

Gobundance: Grab Life Big

Gobundance is a professional network created with the goal of helping ambitious individuals thrive throughout life. Its members are invested in helping one another set sustainable goals, feel inspired, and become 1% better every day. As the Gobundance tagline puts it, the goal is to “provide the accountability, support, adventure, and education you need in your journey to becoming a better man, husband, father, friend, and entrepreneur.”

Gobundance offers subsidiaries of the primary brand, including Gobundance Women,  Fambundance, to help families connect, learn, and grow together, and Gobundance Emerge for those who don’t meet initial application requirements but are high-achieving individuals who want to work toward full membership.

With all these groups, the goal has always been to overcome the “lone wolf” syndrome and provide trusted, effective networks that entrepreneurs can count on to help them thrive. “Before joining, many members feel isolated despite their success, oftentimes feeling like a ‘Lone Wolf.’” explained Gobundance CEO Matt King. “They often struggle with finding a peer group that understands their ambition, balancing work with family life, or breaking through business plateaus.”

Gobundance has responded to this need by building a structured, accountability-driven community where members are challenged to set bold goals and held accountable to achieve them. The group prides itself on the fact that this effective network is member-led and maintained. The best example of this is the company’s CEO, Matt King.

Matt started his Gobundance journey as a volunteer member of the Gocrew. He put in long days spent scrambling to help pull off the impossible for both the organization and its members. It took some time, but eventually, he began to rise through the organization.

“I started as a volunteer,” he explained, “and through accountability, growth, and a genuine desire to contribute, I earned the opportunity to lead at a higher level. It’s a perfect example of how leadership within Gobundance isn’t just given—it’s earned through impact and service. I want every member to see that when you show up, add value, and live the core values, there’s no limit to how far you can go here.”

While professional success is a founding element of the Gobundance community, the group exists to improve throughout all areas of life. Here are a few of the top focal points for Gobundance members:

Gobundance: Effective Wealth-Building

Gobundance offers exclusive access to investment opportunities, insider wealth-building strategies, and real-world financial education. Members consistently report increases in their income, developing optimized tax strategies and making smarter investment decisions.

One example of this is Diego Corzo. When he connected with Gobundance, Diego was an immigrant from Peru in his early 20s with a net worth of just $25,000. Within four years, he had gained financial freedom and increased his net worth to over $600,000. He used this momentum to build a community around achieving financial independence. This rapid transformation even opened the doors to deliver a TEDx talk and receive an invitation to The White House.

Diego’s financial turnaround is not unique among Gobundance members. For instance, during his time in the group, member John Edwin more than doubled his passive income. Again, this rippled to other areas of life and transformed his entire family's trajectory as his son started a business at age 15. Another member, Aaron Amuchastegui, went from being broke to doubling his income. He was also empowered to achieve a lifestyle by design that is filled with adventure, including completing IRONMAN triathlons and diving with great white sharks.

Gobundance: Building Meaningful Relationships

Along with forging foundational, life-changing wealth, Gobundance members are able to build meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals. Gobundance masterminds and events (more on those further down) create environments where deep, authentic relationships are forged.

As Matt King explained, “Members often collaborate on business ventures, share investment opportunities, and support each other’s personal growth. The community has facilitated partnerships in real estate deals, joint ventures, and even philanthropic initiatives.”

These opportunities to work together are reinforced by another core pillar of Gobundance’s model: accountability.

Gobundance: Keeping Ambition Accountability

When asked, Matt King referred to accountability as “A foundational pillar of Gobundance.” The CEO elaborated, “The organization thrives on the belief that when individuals commit to ‘Extreme Accountability,’ they build bigger, more fulfilling lives. The right circle will not only encourage you but also demand that you live up to your highest potential.”

Gobundance has cultivated this deep, defining sense of accountability through peer-to-peer small accountability groups called “Gopods.” These help members gain intimate access to the guidance and support needed to overcome obstacles throughout life.

Fellow Gopod members help one another set serious, sustainable goals and then challenge them to follow through on them over time. This extreme accountability structure ensures they have the wisdom, support, and encouragement to execute their strategies effectively. Historically, this has led Gobundance members to generate tangible financial gains not just over time but often within the first year of membership.

Gobundance: Fostering Holistic Growth

Gobundance has a consistent and clear message that success is not just about the bottom line. It requires balance and an understanding of horizontal income (i.e., not just making money but doing the right things with it). Many members come in with a focus on wealth-building. However, by the time they leave, they have been infused with a holistic approach to life that seeks to balance business success with health, family, and purpose.

“Success at Gobundance is not just about net worth,” Matt King explained. “It's about living a life of abundance, fulfillment, and happiness. This means thriving in business, maintaining vibrant health, cultivating deep relationships, pursuing adventurous experiences, and making meaningful contributions.”

In pursuit of this broader sense of holistic life, Gobundance uses multiple success metrics. These include financial growth with an equal focus on life balance, improved health, strengthened family dynamics, and overall life satisfaction. A great example of this balanced approach comes in the brand’s public version of its Life Happiness Index — something it provides in greater, more updated detail for members.

Examples of this radical transformation are numerous. For instance, Matt highlights member Daniel Del Real, who initially joined to improve his business but quickly realized the need for personal transformation. Gobundance helped him shift from overworking and deteriorating health to achieving balance and completing eight IRONMAN races. He recalled another success story, Carlos Amaya, who achieved a complete physical transformation over the course of ten months with the support of his Gobundance community.

Gobundance’s Ongoing Work

Since stepping in as CEO, Matt King has focused on reinforcing Gobundance’s proven cultural model. “We've doubled down on expanding local chapters and refining our Gopod structures to boost accountability and connection,” he explained, adding, “I’m a big believer in VIA — Vulnerability, Intimacy, and Accountability — at scale.”

Along with Gopods, Gobundance hosts over 50 events every year. These include epic challenges and bucket list adventures, like hiking Rim to Rim to Rim across the Grand Canyon or backcountry heli-skiing.

There is also an abundance of in-person events, both regionally and nationally. These events feature keynote speakers like Ryan Serhant, Tom Bilyeu, Jesse Itzler, and countless others who pour deep insights and value into the Gobundance community. No matter the event, the value always comes back to the relationships between the members and the emphasis on uncovering the value of a holistic approach to ambition and a life well lived.

Matt King offered one example of how this looked at a national winter adventure and mastermind event, where co-founder David Osborn, his son, Luke shared about a transformative journey to Nepal. They visited orphanages and witnessed the joy, love, and resilience of children facing incredible hardships. At one point, Luke even gave his own pajamas to a shivering boy named Tilak.

This demonstrated how small acts of generosity can create profound change, and it stirred up the audience members to respond in kind. The Gobundance community ended up raising over $500,000 to help combat human trafficking. “The moment,” Matt said, “exemplified the true meaning of abundance — not just in wealth, but in love, giving, and community.”

Gobundance: Building and Moving Forward

For the Gobundance community, the best days are clearly to come. The thriving and growing group continues to attract attention as it fleshes out and builds on its proven relational model. While most of its gatherings are closed to non-members, it has also ensured that its biggest event, the Austin Entrepreneurial Summit (AES), remains open to the public and available to those curious about joining who might want to see what it’s like to rub shoulders with over 900 elite entrepreneurs and investors.

Matt King encourages anyone interested to consider the event, adding, “If you're an entrepreneur feeling isolated despite your success, Gobundance offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded, high-achieving men who will hold you accountable, share actionable insights, and inspire you to live with greater purpose and balance.”

It’s a compelling call in a world where many ambitious individuals struggle to stay connected and balanced as they invest in the future of themselves, their loved ones, and their businesses.
