Rakabot Unveils Ingenious Patented Water and Dirt Channeling Shoe Racks That Will Save Your Floors in Every Season

Canadian brand Rakabot has announced the release of a range of innovative V-shaped shoe storage solutions that remove water, dirt, mud, snow, and sand from shoes, boots, and other footwear. With a range of eco-friendly options, Rakabot promises a clean, organized entryway, irrespective of the season. Built to last in any environment, the products can be customized to store anywhere from 4 to 40 pairs of shoes at the same time, with the peace of mind that there will be no dripping or dirt accumulating on the floor or shoes lower on the rack.
With multiple options to fit different customer requirements, Rakabot’s distinct V-shape shelves channel water and dirt into a container, bringing solace to people struggling with wet and dirty footwear. Their diversified inventory includes wooden entrance benches, shoe racks, stackable boot racks, and boot racks with water-collecting buckets. The racks are available with different finishes, from classic stainless steel to flexible plastic and durable powder-coated metal options. All Rakabot’s products are integrated with their patented technology, making every finished piece of unique value.
“The idea for Rakabot’s design came to me because of a major inconvenience that I faced everywhere I went. Working in a beautiful office with big, airy windows, I saw a pattern in how people moved around the entryway before they settled down to work. Especially during winter and autumn, water and mud would collect on the ground, and everyone would step around it without thinking. I noted this observation but left it at that for a while. As my family grew and I ran around doing all the things dads do, this pattern repeated everywhere. I realized I had to do something about this. This started the origin of what would later become Rakabot,” shares Rakabot inventor, founder and CEO, Sebastien Lassonde.
Lassonde explains that Rakabot’s technology works due to its uniquely engineered V-shaped shelves that hold shoes, allowing warm air to circulate to diffuse and evaporate excess moisture, drying wet soles quickly. Excess moisture drips into the V-shape and is then funneled into a container. Mud, pebbles, and any kind of debris fall into the container as the footwear dries, allowing cleaning to be a one-step process of emptying the container periodically. Rakabot is designed specifically without ribs, allowing for ease of cleaning and wiping anytime, whenever wanted.
Observing the enthusiasm he has faced from customers, he states, “People tell me anything sticking to the shoes, including small stones, fall right into the container, saving their expensive carpets and polished wooden floors from scuffing and reworking. I’m truly thankful to be able to make the lives of my fellow beings easier.”
Rakabot’s sustainable storage options can be used in a wide variety of settings, such as gyms, offices, schools, residences, locker rooms, staff rooms, clinics, community centers, and many more. This enables an effortlessly tidy environment and easy organization. Customers have the option of choosing between elegant options for home entryways and closets, as well as more robust and large designs that can be customized to store up to 40 pairs of shoes at once.
Rakabot is available both on their website and on major online retailers. Rakabot aims to be a world leader in storage solutions, with the products receiving widespread attention across the USA and Canada. Proudly made in Canada, the brand is looking to expand into Europe and has started organizing possible distribution routes.
Currently open to investment and looking for strategic partners to come on board, Rakabot looks to gain recognition on a global scale soon.
Hoping to inspire future entrepreneurs, Lassonde gives insight into a snippet from his childhood, revealing, “When I was 10 years old, I declared that someday I’m going to design something useful, something that makes everyday life seamless and easy for people. Rakabot is proof of my dream coming to pass. Nothing is impossible; just believe and act on it. The rest will happen in its own time, and in the best way possible.”
