Most calendars on the market remain limited to a single page or rely on complex subscription-based syncing. These products often lack flexibility and fail to accommodate the different usage habits of family members. To assuage these issues, Apolosign decided to create a new kind of calendar.

The team observed that every household and individual requires a unique scheduling experience. Some want a clear daily view of tasks to help build good time management habits. Others want to create a personalized information panel that combines weather, reminders, to-do lists, and even news. It was based on this need that the company developed a smart Dual-Mode Digital Calendar.

Origins in the Sector

Apolosign was founded with a simple mission: to make high-quality electronics affordable for everyone. Founded in 2008, the company is a factory-direct family display brand that delivers high-quality products at honest prices. The team unites design, R&D, and manufacturing under one roof to reduce unnecessary markups, so that consumers pay for craftsmanship, not middlemen.

Apollosign’s expertise ranges from learning tablets and smart photo frames to living-room 4K screens. However, over the course of the past several years, the brand has curated a focused lineup built around two pillars: Portable TV for flexible spaces and an all-in-one Digital Calendar for organized family living.

A Commitment to Quality and Accessibility

In today’s market, breakthrough products often come with high price tags, making them unaffordable for most households. However, those high prices are not always related to the product itself. More often, consumers pay for layers of marketing and inflated brand premiums. Apolosign takes a different approach.

By operating on a direct-from-factory model, they are committed to eliminating unnecessary costs and delivering real value. As Fyhack, CEO of Apolosign, says, “Our goal is clear: bring well-made, innovative electronics into everyday homes without the heavy price tag.”

In 2025, the brand introduced its Dual-Mode Calendar, which featured a Calendar Mode and a Widget Mode, bringing glanceable schedules together with a customizable dashboard on one screen.

In Calendar Mode, it focuses on daily tasks, helping families build better time habits. Alternatively, in Widget Mode, it supports full personalization, allowing each family member to create their own dashboard with the information that matters most. This innovative “one screen, two purposes” concept speaks to the broader needs of the modern family.

Inspiration for the Dual-Mode Calendar

It all started when the founder bought an electronic calendar as a gift for his wife. He thought it would make her daily life easier, but just a few days later, she began to complain. “Why doesn’t it have this feature? Why can’t I set it up that way?” she would ask, before pointedly saying, “You work with factories, why not just make a better one?”

Her feedback served to open the founder’s eyes and led to an innovative breakthrough. The brand soon realized that most digital calendars on the market were far too limited and didn’t really meet the needs of different families. Thus, upon digging deeper and listening to the complaints of others, the team quickly realized that every household has its own lifestyle and its own expectations. Some families were looking for a calendar to help build healthy routines, while others wanted weather updates, to-do lists, reminders, or even smart integrations, such as a doorbell connection. “That’s when the idea struck me,” the founder says, “What if we could build a calendar that anyone could easily customize to fit their life?”

That was the beginning of the Apolosign Dual-Mode Calendar.

This dual-mode calendar seeks to provide users with more options, enrich usage scenarios, and meet personalized needs.

A Better Tomorrow

Today, Apolosign serves thousands of households. Staying customer-first, the company iterates quickly and stands behind what it builds, bringing high-quality, honestly priced home electronics to more families.

Apolosign Calendar’s ‘pay once, use forever’ model, combined with its dual-mode design, improves cost-effectiveness and user trust.

Over the coming years, Apolosign’s team aims to become known for home display devices. They see a future where all needs, from learning and entertainment to schedule management and health info, are naturally shown and experienced through Apolosign screens.
