In a city built on spectacle, few events manage to feel truly historic. On December 13, The Reality Games did exactly that, delivering a sports and entertainment experience that blended elite competition, reality-TV star power, and a charitable mission.

Produced by Nicky Gathrite and Elevate Agency, the event drew a stadium of fans while many more tuned in worldwide, resulting in an atmosphere that balanced competitive intensity with entertainment-driven presentation.

A Start with a Bigger Purpose

Through a partnership with Trina’s Kids Foundation, The Reality Games launched a charitable initiative to collect and distribute toys at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, with additional shipments delivered nationwide via a 10-city tour. Nonprofit partner Foster Love helped bring hundreds of children from underserved communities to the event to receive gifts and experience the celebration firsthand.“This wasn’t just about competition — it was about community,” said Gathrite. “We wanted every athlete and every fan to feel like they were part of something that mattered.”

From Combine to Champions

Unlike any traditional sporting event, The Reality Games unfolded over two months of programming leading up to the main event.

On October 11, reality-TV personalities competed in a professional-style Combine, testing speed, vertical leap, throwing and kicking accuracy, and agility. Content from the Combine generated social media buzz, accelerating its visibility across international audiences.Team captains Jeremiah Brown (Love Island USA), Chase DeMoor (Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match), Louis Russell (Netflix), and surprise fourth captain Grant Ellis (The Bachelor) then selected rosters during a televised Draft Night on October 26, complete with red-carpet arrivals and full broadcast production.

The Main Event

Three teams — Team Fresh, Reality Royalty, and The Menaces — faced off in basketball, soccer penalty kicks, and a high-intensity dodgeball finale inside the famed league arena known for celebrity basketball showdowns.

The digital reach matched the live spectacle, with many tuning in on Twitch and TikTok. Powered by Memehouse’s state-of-the-art production team, the event was broadcast simultaneously across more than 20 talent channels with professional sports-level quality.

Grant Ellis captured MVP honors, leading Team Fresh with dominant basketball play, clutch soccer goals, and strategic leadership. Louis Russell emerged as a two-way standout in soccer, while Diamant Blazi anchored Reality Royalty as team captain.

A Roster of Reality Stars

Participants included many of reality television’s most competitive and recognizable figures, including Kayla Rich, Katherine LaPrell, Andreina Santos, Carly Lawrence, Marvin Anthony, Andrea Carmona, JD Dodard, Chris Hahn, Abigail Rawlings, Zac Woodworth, Justine Joy, Daniel Ortiz, Melinda Berry, Miranda Bissonnette, and others.

A New Platform for Brands

Sponsors such as Memehouse Productions, RitFit, Mr. Pibb, Oakley Meta, Shop GLD, Lucky Energy, Voss Water, and Glow activated throughout the event with jersey branding, fan lounges, digital integrations, and livestream commercials — showcasing The Reality Games as a scalable, data-driven marketing platform.

What’s Next

With offers already on the table, organizers confirmed discussions are underway for Reality Games II, targeted for mid-2026.

“We proved that you can combine real athleticism, real entertainment, and real impact,” Gathrite said. “Only up from here.”
