Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring for a long-awaited rematch in September at the Sphere in Las Vegas, 11 years after their first encounter. The bout will be the first-ever professional boxing match held at the Sphere and will stream globally on Netflix.

Pacquiao, 47, came out of a four-year retirement in July 2025, with his comeback fight ending in a majority draw against Mario Barrios. Mayweather, 49, announced his own return to professional boxing in February 2026, after a nine-year retirement. His last official fight was a 2017 win over Conor McGregor, though he has since participated in exhibition matches.

This will be the second time these two boxing legends meet. In their first fight, dubbed “The Fight of the Century,” Mayweather won by unanimous decision on May 2, 2015. The fight set commercial records, drawing 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and generating a world-record live gate of $72 million, with total global revenue over $600 million.
