The quest to hoist the ACC softball championship trophy begins on Wednesday in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Florida State, led by Isa Torres and Jaysoni Beachum at the plate, is the No. 1 seed in the 12-team ACC Softball Tournament bracket for the second consecutive year. The Seminoles clinched the top seed in the bracket with an 8-0 run-rule win over Boston College on May 2, in which Beachum finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs, two runs and two walks. Ashtyn Danley struck out 10 hitters across six scoreless innings.
