Start or sit: Time fantasy owners started believing in Carson Wentz
For all of those difficult decisions setting lineups in season-long leagues -- or putting together the best roster in daily fantasy contests -- Bruno Boys Fantasy Football presents our weekly collections of players to consider starting and sitting.

So let's get ready for Week 5.
START
WR John Brown, Arizona Cardinals
The wide receiver has 16 receptions for 214 yards on 27 targets over his last two games. Even if QB Carson Palmer (concussion) doesn’t play Thursday, Brown has a chance for a big game. Backup QB Drew Stanton is no slouch, and the San Francisco 49ers struggle on defense.
Fantasy football rankings: Week 5
QB Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are 3-0, and Wentz is the main reason why. He has five touchdown passes and no interceptions. The rookie should have no problem playing at a high level against a Detroit Lions secondary that gives up 271.8 passing yards a game and has allowed 12 touchdown passes.
RB Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears
The rookie torched the Detroit Lions for 111 rushing yards and 21 receiving yards on 26 total touches. Howard hit the holes hard and made defenders miss. He’s expected to be fed the football again in Week 5 against an Indianapolis Colts defense that has given up a rushing touchdown in every game this season.
RB Terrance West, Baltimore Ravens
West (21 carries, 113 yards and a score against the Oakland Raiders) has passed Justin Forsett on the Ravens depth chart. Even with Kenneth Dixon expected to make his debut in Week 5, West has the hot hand and should be fed the ball against the Washington Redskins’ 30th-ranked run defense.
QB Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have three consecutive wins, and the rookie is playing more like a veteran. Prescott went 23-for-32 for 245 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 4 victory against the San Francisco 49ers. Though the Bengals rank 10th against the pass, they have given up 10 TD strikes.
RB Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams
Gurley has struggled, averaging 2.6 yards per carry and topping 55 rushing yards once, but the Rams continue to feed him the football. In Week 5, Gurley takes on a Buffalo Bills run defense that allows 3.6 yards per carry but has given up five rushing touchdowns on the season.
WR Sammie Coates, Pittsburgh Steelers
Coates showed he was a big-play threat by averaging 29 yards a catch in the first three weeks. In Week 4, he showed he could be a possession wideout as well, hauling in six receptions for 79 yards. This week the New York Jets’ overrated passing defense will have trouble keeping up with the Steelers' speed.
Fantasy Football awards: Stop freaking out about Rob Gronkowski
TE Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
QB Tom Brady is back from his Deflategate suspension and because of that, Gronkowski is expected to return to his dominant ways. Gronk played sparingly the last two games and had one reception for 11 yards. With Brady back, the Patriots are expected to let their big tight end loose.
TE Hunter Henry, San Diego Chargers
Henry has nine receptions for 133 yards and a score over his last two games. QB Philip Rivers already has ultimate trust in his rookie tight end. Henry has a favorable matchup with the Oakland Raiders, who are last in the NFL against the pass and haven’t been able to stop the big play.
TE Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
QB Jameis Winston favors his big tight end, who has back-to-back five-reception games and found the end zone twice during that span. The Panthers allowed two touchdowns by Atlanta Falcons tight ends in Week 4 and have allowed opposing tight ends to score in three games in a row.
SIT
WR DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
Parker put up a dud (two receptions, 20 yards) in Week 4 after two strong weeks. Like the rest of the Dolphins offense, he is inconsistent. The Titans are no pushover, either. They rank 14th in the NFL against the pass and allow a little more than 10 receptions a game to opposing wide receivers.
TE Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
Rudolph is having a breakout season and has benefited from an instant rapport with QB Sam Bradford. But he doesn’t have a good matchup against the Houston Texans, who have held opposing tight ends to three receptions, 23 receiving yards and zero touchdowns per game.
Injury report: Cam Newton, Trevor Siemian among QBs in question
RB Tevin Coleman, Atlanta Falcons
After a hot start, Coleman fizzled in Week 4: 19 yards on eight carries. Coleman has been out-touched by Devonta Freeman 34-26 over the last two games and has a rare genetic blood disorder that could affect his ability to play at Denver’s high altitude. This situation should be avoided.
New York Giants running backs
Injuries have the Giants digging deep into the depth chart. Rashad Jennings missed the last two games with a thumb injury. Shane Vereen took over in Week 3 but injured his triceps. Orleans Darkwa and Bobby Rainey shared the load in Week 4. The Packers allow 1.8 yards rushing per carry.
