Despite Scottie Scheffler celebrating his 30th birthday for the final round of the U.S. Open, the four-time major winner did not get the birthday victory he wished for. Scheffler shot 1-over par during the final round at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, and he finished even for the tournament, four shots back of winner Wyndham Clark.

However, the gallery in Southampton, New York made sure to celebrate Scheffler accordingly. Fans in attendance sang "Happy Birthday" to the world's top-rated golfer as he approached the first tee.

Although Scheffler, ever the consummate professional, cannot be seen reacting to the serenading, likely focused on his first tee shot, you have to imagine that he appreciated the gesture from the fans.

Or perhaps it threw him off his groove. After all, he did bogey the first hole.

Other birthdays on the PGA Tour

Scheffler wasn't the only golfer celebrating a birthday Sunday. Tom Kim, who finished third with a 1-under par, celebrated his 24th birthday.
