Nelly Korda in fifth place at Women's PGA Championship

Nelly Korda is going for her third consecutive major championship at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

She is 6-under through two rounds has leapt into a tie for fifth place at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

Korda shot a 2-under 70 in the opening round on Thursday and 4-under 68 on Friday. She had five birdies and a bogey on Friday. Korda is now 6-under for the tournament and six strokes behind leader Ina Yoon (-12).

Korda, the World No. 1, claimed the first two LPGA major championships of the year with wins at the Chevron Championship in April and the U.S. Women’s Open earlier this month.
