Whether it be multi-sport stars or individuals who excelled in one sport, numerous big names have come out of Minnesota over the last several decades.

Kevin McHale and Joe Mauer are among the standouts who paved the way for modern-day superstars like Paige Bueckers and Chet Holmgren. 

Now, those excelling at the professional level serve as an inspiration to the current crop of high school standouts in the state. 

Which high schools in Minnesota are considered the best for athletes today? 

According to a study conducted by Niche, which accounts for survey feedback from students and parents—accounting for "reviews of athletics, number of state championships, student participation in athletics, and the number of sports offered at the school"—and data from the U.S. Department of Education, these are the top 25.
