Kentucky Derby odds 2026: Latest betting lines, favorites and updates
If the shifting live odds for the 2026 Kentucky Derby are any indication of what's to come on race day at Churchill Downs, the first leg of the Triple Crown could be a thrilling ride.
Though Renegade has settled as the pre-race betting favorite ahead of the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 2, horse racing experts and handicappers aren't apparently sold on any one contender this year. Commandment, The Puma, So Happy and Further Ado all have similar odds and several more that would ordinarily be considered longshots lurk close behind in this wide-open field. Picking a winner, and making big money off the wager, might be tricky.
There have already been two scratches, as Silent Tactic and Fulleffort made way for Great White and Ocelli due to injury in recent days.
