Where to watch MLB games in 2026: Netflix and NBC join broadcast lineup
Gabe LacquesMajor League Baseball will go around the horn immediately as opening day and weekend for the 2026 season will touch almost every major national TV provider.
How to watch the games? Keep your remotes handy and your Roku sticks nimble. A look at the major national windows for the opening series - in order of appearance - and how they'll look all season long:
Netflix
The streaming giant is first out the box on Wednesday, March 25 with an opening night affair featuring the Giants and New York Yankees from San Francisco's Oracle Park. If you're just here for ball and not "Bridgerton," though, feel free to cancel: Netflix's next MLB foray will be the Home Run Derby on July 13, followed by the "Field Of Dreams" game Aug. 13.
NBC/Peacock
Rest in power to Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola. They'd likely be happy to find out NBC is back in the game in a meaningful fashion.
NBC's return to MLB commences Thursday, March 26 with a doubleheader that includes the first game of actual Opening Day - Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates against the New York Mets at 1:15 ET, from Citi Field. It will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
NBC/Peacock also has the return of the two-time defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, who play host to the Arizona Diamondbacks at 8:30 ET/5:30 at Dodger Stadium. Sunday, Peacock will debut the network's weekly offering, the move of Sunday Night Baseball under the NBC umbrella. The Seattle Mariners will host the Cleveland Guardians at 7:20 ET.
And come September, NBC and Peacock will also carry coverage of the four wild card series, essentially assuming the lion's share of ESPN's old inventory.
Apple TV
They're back with the usual offering: A Friday night doubleheader. This one commences with the Los Angeles Angels at the Houston Astros at 8:15 ET, followed by Guardians-Mariners at 9:45 ET.
Fox Sports
Fox and FS1 are back for their Saturday afternoon and night offerings. This season debuts with the finale of the Giants-Yankees series at 7:15 ET; regoinal viewers will get Kansas City-Atlanta.
Fox remains the home of a league championship series and the World Series, as well as the All-Star Game.
