How to watch 2026 Indy 500: TV, streaming, start time for Sunday's race

It's almost time for another Indy 500!

The "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" returns to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 24 for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Four-time IndyCar Series champion Alex Palou has pole position for the race after qualifying a week prior on Sunday, May 17. He will be hoping to win back-to-back Indy 500s.

Katherine Legge will be attempting "The Double" and and will start from the 27th position at Indianapolis before a quick trip down to Charlotte, North Carolina for NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 later that night.

Alexander Rossi, the 2016 Indy 500 winner, ran into the wall in practice on Monday, May 18 in an incident that also caused Pato O'Ward and Romain Grosjean to crash. Rossi was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. All three are expected to race in Sunday's competition.

The 110th running of the Indy 500 will be on Sunday, May 24 per tradition during Memorial Day weekend. The race is scheduled to start at 12:45 p.m. ET with festivities starting with the driver introductions at 11:47 a.m. ET.

Indy 500 where to watch

The Indy 500 will air on television on FOX, who has the broadcast rights to IndyCar. The race can be streamed on FOX's official streaming service, FOX One.

Fubo, a cable alternative that offers a free trial, will also stream the Indy 500.

Who is on pole for the 2026 Indy 500?

Alex Palou is on pole for the 2026 Indy 500. He will start at the front of the grid in his attempt to repeat his win from last year when he earned his first victory at the esteemed race.

The four-time IndyCar champion is the current leader in the championship standings with a dominant season so far. He's won three races, led 209 laps and has 237 points through six outings.
