Forget the Miami Dolphins (yes, even Malik Willis' unfortunate first pitch). Forget the Miami Hurricanes and their quest to return to the College Football Playoff. Today, the buzz around Hard Rock Stadium is for F1 racing.

That's right, it's time for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix ... well, so long as the rain stays away. Thunderstorms are forecast throughout the afternoon at the Miami International Autodrome, and while Formula One does race in the rain, lightning in the area will stop the action for at least 30 minutes. The FIA issued a rain hazard ahead of today's race, increasing the chances of a change in schedule.

F1 fans have already waited more than a month for a race after events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were cancelled because of the war in Iran. 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli won the two races before the pause and is the favorite entering Miami after grabbing pole position. Lando Norris added a sprint win Saturday to his 2024 victory in the grand prix and his 2025 overall title, while reigning Miami winner Oscar Piastri aims to go back-to-back.

Could Max Verstappen, who took the checkered flag in the first two Miami Grand Prix, return to form? Can Lewis Hamilton notch his first win since 2024? Will Charles Leclerc or George Russell make up ground on Antonelli in the early race for the overall F1 championship?

Here's everything you need to know about the race, including the starting lineup and how to watch on TV and streaming:
