Because of his freakish athletic ability and his 6-foot-8, 250 pound frame, the idea of four-time NBA MVP LeBron James transitioning from the NBA to the NFL is one that's been thrown around time and time again over the course of his 13-year career.

On Wednesday, Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan entertained the idea in its entirety.

"That big ol' rascal can come play tight end for us if he wants to," Ryan said after Wednesday's practice, per The Buffalo News.

"I mean, you look at him. He's physical. Look at the range. There's no way you can cover him. Fast, physical ... we'll give it a shot."

Down 2-0 in the NBA Finals series with the Golden State Warriors with a pivotal Game 3 on Wednesday night in Cleveland, James' tight end-esque physicality is one of many things that will need to be on full display if the Cavs want a chance at redemption. If not, and if this series continues to go down the same road, Ryan might want to start making a couple of phone calls.
