NBA Draft order 2026: Where every team picks during tonight's first round
Elizabeth FloresFollow along for live rumors and news from around the league on NBA draft day.
The order for the 2026 NBA Draft was set on May 10 during the NBA Draft Lottery, where the Washington Wizards secured the first overall pick and the opportunity to reshape their franchise with Tuesday’s selection.
This will be the Wizards' first No. 1 selection since choosing John Wall in 2010. The top selection victory comes at a crucial time, as Washington is coming off its three most challenging seasons in its 65-year history, including a 17-65 campaign during 2025-26.
The Utah Jazz have the No. 2 overall selection, while the Memphis Grizzlies will follow at No. 3. Rounding out the top five are the Chicago Bulls at No. 4 and the Los Angeles Clippers at No. 5, the latter acquiring their pick through a trade with the Indiana Pacers.
