De'Aaron Fox injury update: Spurs star hobbles to bench
Jace EvansThis isn't a sight you wanted to see if you're a Spurs fan: De'Aaron Fox hobbled to the bench in clear pain during the third quarter of Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The San Antonio All-Star was back in the lineup after missing the first two games of the Western Conference finals as he dealt with right ankle soreness. But he got his right leg rolled on by Lu Dort as the two battled for a loose ball, and Fox was forced to his hands and knees.
He remained in the backcourt with his team on offense until a stoppage after the ball came back the other way, and then went directly to the bench with a considerable limp.
In some good news for the Spurs, Fox did find his way back to the court during the fourth quarter.

After the game, Fox said he felt "all right."
"Good enough to play, so, that's all that matters," Fox said.
Fox finished with 15 points on 7-for-14 shooting, though had just a 1-for-6 mark from 3. He dished out six assists and had seven rebounds.
"I feel like it was a play that could have been avoidable, but it is what it is," Fox said after the game of the play that saw him tweak his ankle.
"Every team's dealing with something, every team's coping with injuries, so you (chalk) it up to that's the name of the game. But, obviously, it is disappointing not being able to be 100%, but like I said, I'm able to be out there. So, that's all that matters to me right now."
