The countdown to Super Bowl 2024 is a little more than 24 hours away, when the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs face off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to appear in their fourth Super Bowl in the last five seasons. They are aiming to become the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the 2003-04 New England Patriots. The Chiefs' quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, will make history as the first QB to start four Super Bowl games before the age of 30. Mahomes is also vying for his third Super Bowl ring and MVP title.

The San Francisco 49ers are making their second appearance in the Super Bowl in the last five seasons. In their last Super Bowl appearance, they faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV and lost 31-20. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy who was nicknamed "Mr. Irrelevant" due to his draft pick quickly shook it off. Now, in Super Bowl LVIII, Purdy will make NFL history as the third youngest quarterback to start the game.
