Editor's note: Follow along for live updates for Super Bowl 60 throughout the day.

Time zones can be confusing.

That's especially true with Super Bowl 60, which takes place in Santa Clara, California — three time zones removed from the "standard" Eastern time slot.

But for NFL fans on the West Coast who may be wondering what time the 2026 Super Bowl will start locally — excepting, perhaps, Seahawks fans — then look no further.

This year's matchup between the New England Patriots (17-3) and Seattle Seahawks (16-3) is scheduled to kick off at Levi's Stadium at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb. 8.

The game from Santa Clara, California, will be broadcast on NBC, with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth on the call. Here's what to know about the scheduled kickoff time for the 2025 Super Bowl in Pacific Time:

What time does the Super Bowl start Pacific Time?

  • Time: 3:30 p.m. PT

Super Bowl 60 is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. PT, which is the same designated time as last year's Super Bowl. However, with the pregame ceremony and all the theatrics that go on with the game, don't be surprised if kickoff is slightly later.

According to information from Time and Date — which provides real-time information on global time zones and date-related data — the sun will set at 5:40 p.m. PT in Santa Clara on Feb. 8. That means the Patriots and Seahawks will have roughly two hours of daylight to play Super Bowl 60 from the opening kickoff.

It's uncertain how far the actual game will progress before the sun sets on Feb. 8, as a potentially delayed kickoff time and commercial breaks will play a factor.
