Super Bowl odds after free agency: Ranking each team before 2026 NFL Draft
Nick BrinkerhoffThe 2026 free-agent class lacked superstar talent, but that doesn't mean this group of players won't make a major impact on the Super Bowl next season.
Contenders are typically built through the NFL draft, where talent comes cheap and with a long-term commitment. However, plenty of contenders know how to use the free-agent market to improve around the margins and position themselves for a lengthy playoff run.
If you're hoping for a superstar quarterback that becomes an MVP candidate, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for some depth or to bet on talent reaching new heights in a different system, you've come to the right place.
That's the reason why you'll notice the Super Bowl odds for the 2026 season look fairly similar to how they looked after the final game of the 2025 NFL season. There is some movement, but nothing earth-shattering despite plenty of big moves.
Here's a look at the updated odds for Super Bowl 61 after the first wave of free agency:

2027 Super Bowl odds
(All odds via BetMGM)
1. Los Angeles Rams (+800)
Matthew Stafford is back and the Rams patched up the one hole they had, swinging a trade for Trent McDuffie. With a remade secondary and a star-studded returning cast of characters, it should be no surprise that L.A. is the favorite to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next season.
2. Seattle Seahawks (+850)
Mike Macdonald's team was dominant in 2025 and the rightful Super Bowl champion. Now the question is, what will they do for an encore? With a target on their back, it'll be tough to recapture the magic after letting Kenneth Walker III, the Super Bowl 60 MVP, walk out the door.
T-3. Baltimore Ravens (+1000)
This one is a head-scratcher. John Harbaugh is gone and plenty of Ravens players walked out the door behind him. They had the failed trade for Maxx Crosby and lost Tyler Linderbaum to the Raiders. They still have Lamar Jackson, but it's hard to see how this team is better than the one that just missed the playoffs.
T-3. Buffalo Bills (+1000)
Every year is Josh Allen's year, except none of them have been. Countless people have been quick to crown the Bills each season before Buffalo falls short in January. The real question is, will they ever get over the top? If there's any good news for the Bills, it's that the team's fortunes haven't changed much since it was among the favorites last year. Maybe this one will be different.
T-5. Detroit Lions (+1500)
The Lions took steps to improve their depth in free agency, but they also saw the offensive line go from a strength to a concern. Taylor Decker opened up a hole at left tackle, which is a major need heading into the draft. It's no secret that Jared Goff isn't the most mobile quarterback in the world and it would be hard to back the Lions as a contender with that key issue. The offensive line could easily ruin the season before it even begins.
T-5. Green Bay Packers (+1500)
Injuries played a part in the Packers' downfall last season, but the team's inability to win the division in recent seasons is much worse. Matt LaFleur's team has been forced to live life on the road when the postseason starts, which is a recipe for disaster.
T-5. Philadelphia Eagles (+1500)
The Eagles lost some key pieces on defense like Jaelan Phillips, Nakobe Dean and Reed Blankenship, but the biggest player to watch remains on the roster – A.J. Brown. Whether the star receiver gets moved at some point remains to be seen, leaving Philadelphia in limbo as the offseason rolls along. Regardless, they are a team that appears positioned to bounce back after a disappointing 2025.
T-8. Kansas City Chiefs (+1600)
Patrick Mahomes hopes to be healthy in time for Week 1 and Travis Kelce will return for another season. Kansas City is getting the band back together and added Walker to the running back room in free agency. There is plenty of work to do, but it's hard to count this team out when No. 15 is healthy.
T-8. Los Angeles Chargers (+1600)
The Chargers didn't make a splash in free agency and instead watched the teams around them get better. It's a bold strategy for a team that had no shortage of money to spend, even if the roster is already in a good spot. As always, injuries will tell the story of the 2026 Chargers.
10. Denver Broncos (+1700)
Denver wasn't willing to just run it back after a 14-win season that saw them claim the AFC's top seed. Instead, they swung a blockbuster trade for Jaylen Waddle to add some explosiveness to a receiver room that was in desperate need of that. Armed with a top defense, the Broncos should be in position to contend in 2026.
T-11. New England Patriots (+1800)
T-11. San Francisco 49ers (+1800)
T-13. Houston Texans (+2000)
T-13. Jacksonville Jaguars (+2000)
15. Chicago Bears (+2500)
16. Cincinnati Bengals (+3000)
17. Dallas Cowboys (+3500)
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+4000)
T-19. Indianapolis Colts (+5000)
T-19. Minnesota Vikings (+5000)
21. Washington Commanders (+6600)
T-22. Atlanta Falcons (+8000)
T-22. New York Giants (+8000)
T-22. Pittsburgh Steelers (+8000)
T-25. Carolina Panthers (+10000)
T-25. New Orleans Saints (+10000)
T-27. Las Vegas Raiders (+15000)
T-27. Tennessee Titans (+15000)
T-29. Arizona Cardinals (+25000)
T-29. Cleveland Browns (+25000)
T-29. Miami Dolphins (+25000)
T-29. New York Jets (+25000)
