The 2026 NFL schedule has been released, and football fans now know who all of their favorite teams will be playing in Week 1.

Week 1 will feature plenty of quality matchups. The Seattle Seahawks will be kickstarting the season by hosting the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl 60 rematch at Lumen Field in the NFL's first Wednesday opener since 2012. The next day, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will tangle down under in the league's first-ever Australia game.

Add in tasty Week 1 matchups between the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans and there is no shortage of quality clashes for NFL fans to anticipate.

The schedule release will also provide bettors a first glimpse at how the NFL's teams match up against one another on paper. Football fans and gamblers alike already know which squads are expected to be among the contenders, but the spreads, moneylines and point totals will give everyone a better idea of exactly how each club stacks up against one another.

In Week 1, Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars are among the biggest favorites, as each is projected to win by at least a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions vs. New Orleans Saints matchups are expected to be the highest-scoring of the bunch, with point totals exceeding 50.
