Peyton Manning's future plans now open to betting odds

Go ahead, take a gamble on Peyton Manning’s future.

Now that the 39-year-old Denver Broncos quarterback is sidelined for a second straight week, it’s possible to place prop bets on when (and if) he’ll return to the field and even what he might wind up doing in 2016.

The website OnlineGambling.lv announced Tuesday morning a variety of odds regarding Manning, including setting the over-under on how many games he plays the rest of this season at 2.5. The Broncos have six regular-season games remaining, and will likely reach the postseason.

The site puts the odds that the Broncos win the Super Bowl with Manning at quarterback at 23/1, while the odds that the Broncos win the Super Bowl without him are 1/12.

Now it gets weird, as the site established odds for what Manning could do in 2016, from playing football to performing on Saturday Night Live:

- He plays football for Broncos: 29/1

- He plays football for another team: 40/1

- He’s an analyst next season: 50/1

- He becomes a coach: 120/1

- He’s a full-time SNL cast member: 200/1

- He becomes a full-time movie actor: 500/1

- He stars in a reality show: 2,000/1

- He opens his own pizza chain: 8,000/1

- He opens his own car dealership: 12,000/1

Oddly enough, becoming a front office executive is not among the options for Manning’s 2016 plans.
