IRVING, Texas – Tony Romo didn’t hold back.
“I’m throwing the ball as well as I ever have,” the Cowboys quarterback said Thursday, as the team held its final workout before training camp next month.
The Cowboys were 1-11 last season without Romo, who twice broke his left collarbone during the season. He underwent surgery on the collarbone in March.
Romo said he and the team will discuss in camp what schedule he should be on in 2016, whether he should continue to take Wednesdays off from practice.
He said it will be based on the feeling of throwing each day. He feels good now, he feels strong.
"At the same time, you can't disregard history," he said.
