Super Bowl 60 is over. The first wave of free agency is in the books. Pro days wrap up on the first day of April. It's full steam ahead for the 2026 NFL Draft.

All seven rounds of this year's draft will take place over the final full weekend in April. By the end of it all, 257 college football prospects will have landed with their first NFL team. Dozens more will sign on as undrafted free agents, hopeful to make a roster out of training camp.

Headlining the class is Heisman Trophy winner, national champion and Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza. The presumed No. 1 overall pick is in a league of his own among quarterbacks in this year's draft, with all of the other collegiate signal-callers' draft stocks weighed down by the baggage of a worrying trait or several.

When is the 2026 NFL Draft?

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place between April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
